2. The Cabarrus Healthy Corner Stores (CHCS) program aims to increase the accessibility, availability and visibility of healthy items in Cabarrus County neighborhood stores from 2014-2017. Participating stores will improve the food environment of their community and receive FREE incentives such as paid media and consultations from a product merchandiser. The program thrives on the involvement and support of the community, so help us identify stores today. Nominate your neighborhood store! Once your nomination is received, a CHCS Coordinator will approach the store owner to notify them of their nomination and encourage them to participate.
