Academy Recreation Center offers the following recreational opportunities at no charge: game rooms with billiards, foosball, bumper pool, air hockey, shuffleboard and table tennis. The facility also includes weight rooms, cardiovascular equipment and a gymnasium for free-play basketball.

The Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program is designed to challenge youth and adults with physical disabilities to develop skills that will lead to and enhance an active and productive lifestyle - one without barriers or limits.

Alexander Youth Network is headquartered in Charlotte with service locations throughout Piedmont and Western North Carolina. Alexander Youth Network provides a wide array of programs and services accessible in many locations throughout the Piedmont and Western North Carolina. In most cases, community-based programs such as Therapeutic Foster Care and Intensive In-Home are performed in counties immediately surrounding an office location. Our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) accepts children from throughout the state.
