It's hard to believe that you spend one-third of your day at school, but it's TRU! Check out the activities below that will help your school be 100% tobacco free.

• Cigarette butt clean-up – grab your friends, some gloves, and a trash bag. Collect as many butts as you can to spruce up your campus. Want to do something about it when they're all collected? Meet with your teacher or principal and share your findings.
• Write a paper on the harmful effects of tobacco on your health. Get info for your paper on our facts section of this webpage. Share what you've learned with your friends.
• Celebrate Great American Smokeout Day (www.acsf2f.com/gaso/aboutgaso.html) and Kick Butts Day (www.kickbuttsday.org) at your school. Set up a display during your lunches to share with anyone who comes by.
