Immunization required by the state for children birth – 18yrs is free for those who have Medicaid, uninsured or underinsured (they have insurance, but it does not cover vaccines). This includes: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), Hib (influenza type b), polio, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox). Tetanus-diphtheria is provided to all at no charge. Adults may receive tetanus-diphtheria boosters every 10 years. Measles, Mumps, and Rubella is also available, there may be a charge for this. Pneumonia vaccines are available at a cost of $56.40 at Cabarrus Health Alliance. Please bring your immunization record with you. Appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday and Thursday. Call 704 920-1205 to make an appointment.

Some vaccines are available with a charge.
Basic childhood immunizations birth to 18 years
Td booster every 10 years---no charge
Td for adults after injury if 5 years has elapsed since last Td vaccine-- no charge
MMR(Measles-Mumps-Rubella) -- no charge for first vaccine. May be a charge of $65.00 for the second.
Meningococcal vaccine for college students and international travelers -- $125.00
Meningococcal vaccine -- some are eligible for free vaccine per NC State guidelines.
Hepatitis B adult -- $60.00/per dose
Hepatitis A adult -- $70.00/per dose
Twinrix (Hepatitis A&B) -- $90.00/per dose
Zostavax (shingles) vaccine -- $195.00
Gardasil (HPV) vaccine -- $165.00/per dose. Some are eligible for free vaccine per NC state guidelines.
Tdap -- $55.00
Varicella -- $98.00

There are administrative fees for each paid vaccine given.
