immunization services

Immunization services are provided free of charge for all children from birth through age 18. This includes: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), Hib (influenza type b), polio, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox).  Tetanus-diphtheria is provided to all at no charge. Adults may receive tetanus-diphtheria boosters every 10 years Measles Mumps Rubella is also available, there may be a charge for this. Flu vaccine is provided to the community in the fall. Pneumonia vaccines are available at a cost of $42.00 at Cabarrus Health Alliance. Please bring your immunization record with you. Check in hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday and Thursday. Call 704 920-1205 to make an appointment.

Some vaccines are available with a charge.
Basic childhood immunizations birth to 18 years   --  no charge
Td (Tdap) booster every 10 years---no charge
Td (Tdap) for adults after injury if 5 years has elapsed since last Td vaccine  --    no charge
MMR (Measles-Mumps-Rubella) -- no charge for first vaccine.  May be a charge of $65.00 for the second.
Meningococcal vaccine for college students and international travelers -- $110.00
Hepatitis B adult  -- $60.00/per dose
Hepatitis A adult  -- $70.00/per dose
Twinrix (Hepatitis A&B) -- $90.00/per dose
Zostavax (shingles) vaccine -- $195.00
Gardasil (HPV) vaccine -- $165.00/per dose. Some are eligible for free vaccine per NC state guidelines.
