WHAT IT IS:
Free and confidential home visiting program, provided by a Registered Nurse to first time pregnant teens during their pregnancies and until the child’s second birthday.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this program is to provide support, pregnancy and child development/ safety information and to promote goal setting related to parenting, education and independence.

WHO MAY RECEIVE THIS SERVICE: Resident of Cabarrus County, first time pregnant teen.

HOW THIS PROGRAM IS CARRIED OUT: Any pregnant teen or parent/guardian of the pregnant teen may request services. Referrals are also made from various community resources. Visit by a Registered Nurse at your home, school, doctors office or wherever you are most comfortable.
