Daily Hours
are Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Evening Hours will be available at Cabarrus Health Alliance Kannapolis Clinic on Monday and Thursday.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) Clinic provides evaluation, medication, and behavioral therapy to improve a child’s mental, behavioral and developmental health. Any child suspected of having or previously diagnosed with ADHD or a related diagnosis, from age 3 to 21 years is eligible. Various health plans are accepted as well as Medicaid, Health Choice, BC/BS of NC, and self-pay. Appointment is necessary. For further information, contact the Clinic Coordinator at 704-920-1321.

AIDS/HIV  Confidential HIV testing for the virus which causes AIDS. Hours for HIV testing are 8:00-5:30 Monday and Thursday, and 8:00-4:30 Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  For more information call 704 920-1270. No appointment is needed.

AIDS/HIV Case Management - Confidential assessment of the HIV/AIDS clients needs, identification of and referral to appropriate resources, coordination and monitoring of care.  Call 704 920-1356.

Breast Exams, Mammograms - Breast exams, mammograms, and pap smears are offered at no charge to women age 50 to 64 who have limited income. Evening and Saturday appointments also available. Call today for an appointment 704 920-1257 or 704 920-1205.

Childbirth Preparation Class - A series of classes that focus on what to expect during labor and delivery.  Classes are ongoing.  Call 704 920-1250 for information and registration.

Child Health Clinic - Routine, well-child checkups, developmental assessments, sick care and immunizations at Cabarrus Health Alliance in Kannapolis and at the Logan Community Family Resource Center in Concord.

Child Service Coordination - Help for parents and families of children through age 5, at risk for chronic illnesses or developmental/emotional problems.  CSC professionals help parents locate, and utilize services for their children.  No cost. Call 704 920-1000 or 1-800-TLC-0422.

Dental Health - Comprehensive Dental Care for children and adults who have Medicaid or NC HealthChoice. A sliding fee scale may be available if eligible. Call 704 920-1070 for an appointment. Dental services for Cabarrus County residents include cleanings, fillings and emergencies for adults and children. Free dental health education classes available to preschool age children, their parents and childcare providers. For more information call 920-1090.

Environmental Health Services - Pool Inspections, Restaurant Inspections, Soil Evaluation for  Septic Tank Approval and Water Testing.  Call 704 920-1207.

Family Planning Clinic - Exams, lab work, birth control education and birth control methods for women and men. Appointments available daily at Kannapolis clinic. Call 704-920-1205 for appointment.

Flu and Pneumonia Clinics – Please call our FLU Information hot-line – 704 920-1213 for information. Pneumonia vaccine is always available at the Health Alliance during normal business hours at the Kannapolis location. The cost is $42 for the pneumonia vaccine. Bring your Medicare, Medicaid, or BCBS card if you would like us to bill for this service.   

Immunizations - Free immunizations for all children from birth through age 18. For college bound students - MMR and Tetanus are available.  Adults - Tetanus / Diphtheria are available.  Routine Tetanus boosters are given/recommended every 10 years, but can be given at 5+ years if there is a wound, per the guidelines from the NC Immunization branch and the CDC. Gardasil (HPV vaccine) available for ages 9-26 years. Zostavax (Shingles vaccine) available for persons 60 and over. Menactra (Meningococcal vaccine) is available at no charge to clients ages 11 through 55 years. Immunizations available Monday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at our Kannapolis office.

International Travel Immunizations - Please call 920-1231 for more information and appointment.  Charges vary based on vaccines given and services provided.  Services available by appointment.

Maternity Clinic - Medical care for pregnant women by appointment at the Kannapolis office and at the Logan Family Resource Center. Call 704-920-1205 for an appointment.

Maternity Care Coordination - Help for pregnant women in identifying needed support and services to help insure a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.  For Cabarrus County residents. Call 920-1000.

Pediatrics - Routine child check-ups, sick child care and immunizations available at Kannapolis Clinic, 704 920-1205. Call for appointments.

Pregnancy Testing - Testing, counseling and referral services. Fee $20.00. FREE for those 17 and under. Call for more information.
 

Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic - Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases daily. Service is provided at no charge. Appointments recommended for your convenience. Call 704 920-1205 for an appointment.

TB (Tuberculin) skin test
- Monday's, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Call 704 920-1205 to schedule an appointment. Client must return in 48-72 hours for reading of skin test. Fee is $20.00. TB assessment and treatment by appointment.

WIC Food Program - Supplemental food program for pregnant or postpartum women, infants and children up to age 5. Breast-feeding information available. Call 704-920-1204 for information.
